Description
This contract is a fixed‑price demolition and site‑restoration project for the City of Mobile at 1215 Texas Street. The contractor must perform wet demolition of existing structures, cap utility lines, remove all debris, implement erosion‑ and sediment‑control BMPs, manage lead‑based paint and asbestos according to federal regulations, and restore the site with grading, seeding, and mulching. All related costs—including hazardous‑material disposal, BMP installation, insurance, and required training—must be included in the bid. The work must be completed within 30 calendar days after the city issues a Notice to Proceed, with strict penalties for delays.
