Description
The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking a qualified contractor to remove the existing shingle roof, gutters, and downspouts and replace them with metal roof panels, gutters, and downspouts at the Marshalltown RCE Office. The contract is estimated to start after July 1, 2025, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026. The Iowa DOT will provide periodic site inspections and supervision to ensure the project is completed according to the approved design.
• The contract is subject to the procedures and requirements established in Iowa Administrative Code 761--20.
• The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose submission is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, considering cost and other factors.
• A pre-bid site visit will be offered to interested contractors.
• The Iowa DOT is a tax-exempt agency, and tax exemption certificates will be provided upon request.
