Description
The Summit County Executive, Department of Sanitary Sewer Services, is soliciting bids for the Cleveland-Massillon Rd. and Rothrock Rd. Sanitary Sewer Extension Project Q-537. The project involves the installation of approximately 1,871 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer extension to service an existing office building, houses, and future development. The contract award will be based on the lowest, most responsive, and responsible bid. The project duration is 145 calendar days after notice to proceed. The estimated contract value is $392,000.
• The project includes the installation of 8-inch sanitary sewer (PVC SDR-35), sanitary manhole, pot-holing for existing utilities, mobilization and bonding, and 6-inch sanitary lateral.
• The project is located in the City of Fairlawn and Township of Copley, County of Summit, State of Ohio.
• The contract documents include instructions to bidders, prevailing wage, proposal forms, contract documents, general conditions, technical specifications, and construction plans.
• Bidders are responsible for EEO compliance and are encouraged to utilize minority and women subcontractors and/or suppliers whenever possible.
