P-24002 Paint & Related Supplies: Supply & Delivery

The Chicago Park District has awarded a contract to RAE Products & Chemicals Corporation for the supply and delivery of paint and related materials and supplies. The contract has a one-year term with four additional one-year extension options. The contract amount is not to exceed $500,000 annually. The contractor will provide all equipment, fuel, labor, materials, transportation, trucks, vehicles, and any other services necessary to supply and deliver paint and related supplies throughout the Chicago Park District. The contractor must maintain an inventory of sufficient diversity and quantity to ensure the delivery of paint and related materials and supplies. Some key points of the contract include: * The contractor must provide products of the highest and best quality that are competitively priced and delivered in a timely manner. * The contractor must have experience in the field of paint and related supplies and have an established, credible reputation for servicing large volume location customers on a just-in-time basis. * The contractor is responsible for any missed shipments or damaged shipments and must make arrangements with their common carrier or company personnel to pick up unacceptable materials upon notification from the Chicago Park District. * The contractor must replace any defective or rejected items within 48 hours of notification from the Chicago Park District. * The contractor must provide a credit or replacement for any returned items within seven business days of the return.
