IRON HORSE BOULEVARD WEST RECONSTRUCTION

The City of North Richland Hills has awarded a contract for the reconstruction of Iron Horse Boulevard West. The project includes the reconstruction of approximately 12,700 square yards of 8” concrete pavement, 14,000 square yards of lime stabilized subgrade, 1,300 square yards of sidewalk, and other associated items. The contract was awarded to multiple vendors, including Axis Contracting, Inc., Ed Bell Construction, and Xit Paving and Construction Company. The total base bid amount for the project is approximately $3,380,075.00. • The project includes reconstruction of Iron Horse Boulevard West from Browning Drive to Rufe Snow Drive. • The contract was awarded through a competitive bidding process. • The project includes multiple sections, including general and removals, paving, utilities, pavement marking and signing, landscaping, and contingency. • The contract has a total of 8 vendors. • The City of North Richland Hills reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
