EQUIPMENT PARTS, REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE FOR SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT

This contract is for the provision of equipment parts, repairs, and maintenance services for the Solid Waste Management department of Ocean County, New Jersey. The contract was awarded to four vendors: MSA Safety Sales, LLC, Cherry Valley Tractor Sales, Gerhart Systems and Controls Corp., and Komptech Americas. The contract period is from December 7, 2022, to December 6, 2024, with an option to extend. The scope of work includes maintenance and repair services for various equipment, including truck scales, methane detection systems, and waste management equipment. • The contract includes a price schedule with estimated quantities and unit prices for each item. • The vendors are required to provide maintenance and repair services for the equipment, including quarterly maintenance and repair services. • The contract also includes provisions for payment, delivery, and contract termination. • The Ocean County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to extend the contract term pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-15.
