EQ-VARFREQDR/1621 Variable Frequency Drive

This contract is for the purchase of a Variable Frequency Drive and optional start-up services. The City of Punta Gorda is seeking a vendor to provide a 200HP Variable Frequency Drive, with a minimum one-year warranty. The contract also includes an optional start-up service, which would extend the warranty to three years. The vendor must provide a brochure and/or website link with their response. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all optional pricing. • The contract is for a single award. • The bid type is FQ (Firm Quote). • The bid submission date was December 10, 2012. • The bid award date was December 11, 2012. • The contract includes a unit price contract, where the unit prices proposed shall prevail based on actual quantities or services ordered. • The vendor must provide a product/equipment warranty against any defects in materials and workmanship. • The City reserves the right to investigate gross deviations in the Bidder's Verified Quantities from the Engineer's Estimated Quantities during the evaluation process.
