Description
The City of Vancouver has entered into a services agreement with West Yost & Associates Inc. for on-call wastewater system planning and design services. The agreement is for a term of 5 years, starting from March 1, 2025, and ending on February 28, 2030. The contractor will provide services including wastewater treatment and conveyance planning and modeling, and regulatory support services related to NPDES permits and other environmental permits. The city will pay the contractor a maximum of $1,000,000.00 USD for all services completed during the term of the agreement. The agreement includes provisions for payment, termination, and indemnification, as well as requirements for the contractor to maintain certain insurance coverage and comply with applicable laws and regulations. Some of the key services to be provided include:
• Wastewater treatment and conveyance planning and modeling
• Regulatory support services related to NPDES permits and other environmental permits
• Communication strategies and outreach materials for PFAS, microplastics, and other emerging contaminants of concern
• Strategic projects to address anticipated changes in state and federal water and air quality policies and regulations
