Ralston Powerhouse Intake Structure Trash Rake

The contract is for the design, fabrication, delivery, installation, startup, operational training, and furnishing of a primary trash rake system at the Intake Structure for Ralston Powerhouse at Interbay Reservoir. The project includes the demolition, removal, and disposal of the existing trash rake, trolley system, structural steel supports, electrical conduit, and controls. The contract requires the contractor to pay prevailing wages, employ apprentices, and comply with equal opportunity and Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. • The contract is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the State Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). • The contractor must register with DIR pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. • The contractor must furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price. • The contractor must provide a Bid Guaranty in an amount not less than 10% of the total aggregate of the bid.
