The City of Mobile is seeking a sealed‑bid procurement for ballistic protective equipment and associated utility vehicles for its Police Department. The scope includes: • Ballistic body‑armor vests (Point Blank FRK 720 – Vest, Model BIIIA‑2) – approx. 132 new vests, NIJ Level IIIA. • Hard‑armor steel plates (Paraclete SPLT555) – approx. 132 front and back plates, NIJ Level III. • Ballistic helmets (Point Blank/Paraclete MICH IIIA) – approx. 132 helmets, ACH‑spec. • Two golf‑cart‑based utility work/service carts. All items must be new, exact models listed, with no substitutions; the vest manufacturer must carry $26 M product‑liability insurance. Delivery is FOB Destination to the City’s purchasing office (no loading dock). Payment is firm‑price with a 20‑day discount period after receipt of goods and proper invoice. A bid bond or equivalent 5 % of the total bid amount is required, along with mandatory W‑9, E‑Verify proof, and Alabama Certificate of Authority for out‑of‑state vendors.
