022.20.B3 Temperature Control System Components & Parts

This contract is for the provision of temperature control system components and parts for the Howard County Public School System. The contract was awarded to five vendors: Control Sources, LLC, H.M. Sweeny Co., Havtech Parts Division, LLC, M&M Controls, and Shepherd Electric Supply. The contract period is for one year from the date of award and is renewable for five additional one-year periods. The anticipated contract value is approximately $350,000.00 annually. • The contract includes components such as controllers, temperature sensors, actuators, relays, motor starters, variable frequency drives, automatic control valves, and dampers. • The contract allows the Building Services Department to shop for the best price for a specific product. • The contract provides a degree of flexibility, allowing the Building Services Department to compare products, manufacturers, and pricing to ensure the best price. • The contract is renewable for five additional one-year periods at the sole option of the school system, pending available funds and satisfactory service.
