PB Engineer & Planner

This is a one‑year fixed‑price professional‑services agreement between the Township of Barnegat Planning Board and T&M Associates to provide Planning‑Board Planner services. The planner will attend Board meetings, review land‑use and zoning applications, issue certificates, provide technical advice, testify at hearings, and may perform additional services such as surveys, grant preparation, and environmental assessments as requested. Compensation is based on a schedule of hourly rates ranging from $115 to $192 per hour, plus reimbursable expenses (mileage, travel, subcontractor fees, etc.). Invoices are submitted monthly and payable within 60 days; disputes must be resolved within 60 days of invoice. The agreement runs from 6 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026 with the option to extend by written amendment. • Core planning services: board representation, review of subdivisions, zoning compliance, issuance of permits. • Optional additional services: surveying, grant writing, environmental assessments, subcontractor coordination. • Hourly billing rates for staff categories; no total contract ceiling, payment based on hours worked plus expenses. • Insurance requirements: $1 M general liability, $2 M professional liability, workers’ comp as required. • Extension provision allows continuation beyond the end date under mutually agreed terms.
