RESERVOIR NO. 6 WTP FILTER UNDERDRAIN REPLACEMENT

This contract concerns the design‑build replacement of the underdrain system and associated filter media for Reservoir No. 6 Water Treatment Plant (WTP) in the Town of Bloomfield, CT. The contractor must remove existing media, demolish and replace underdrains, reinstall media, and demonstrate operation of five specific filters (Nos. 1, 3, 4, 5, 6). Additional work includes refinishing filter‑room walls and providing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for the scope. A mandatory pre‑bid conference and site tour are required, with strict PPE requirements for attendees.
