Description
The City of Independence, Missouri, is soliciting bids for the Parks Recreation Tourism Department to provide labor, material, supervision, equipment, tools, and all else necessary to maintain and repair existing park asphalt trails and install new surfaces on an "as needed" basis. The contract term is from May 1, 2019, to April 30, 2020, with the option to renew for additional years. The successful vendor must secure all necessary licenses and permits required by law and City Code. Some key requirements include:
• Furnishing all tools, equipment, supplies, insurance, superintendence, transportation, and other construction accessories, services, and facilities
• Furnishing all materials, supplies, and equipment specified and required to be incorporated in and form a permanent part of the completed work
• Providing and performing all necessary labor and services in a good, substantial, workmanlike manner in accordance with the general provisions and technical specifications of this contract
• Making payment of all wages in conformance with the official schedule of wage rates as determined by the Industrial Commission of Missouri for the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, and in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Law of Missouri
