Request for Quotations for Rental of Portable Tower Lighting

The City of Coral Gables issued a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the rental of portable tower lighting. The contract was awarded to Sunbelt Rentals, Inc., the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The rental rates and fees are outlined in the attached tabulation. The contract includes hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly rental rates, as well as mobilization fees. The following charges are not included in the pricing: fueling charges, delivery and pickup charges, sales tax, and rental tax. • The rental rates are $127.50 per hour, $341.70 per day, $504.90 per week, and $1,500.00 per month. • The mobilization fee is $35 round trip. • The contract includes a 1-day minimum rental period and a 28-day billing cycle. • The rentals will prorate based on a 38-day billing cycle. • The vendor is unable to provide samples. • The contract is subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the RFQ documents and exhibits.
