2025 Annual Striping

The contract is for the 2025 Annual Striping project, which involves the removal of existing thermoplastic striping and application of thermoplastic striping at various locations. The project is funded with local funds and has an engineer's estimate of $253,000. The contract was awarded to Central Striping Service, Inc. in the amount of $265,812.83. The project has a contract time of 25 working days. • The project requires the payment of prevailing wage rates to be paid to members of each craft or classification performing work on this project. • The contractor shall possess either a Class A Contractor License or a combination of classes required by the categories and types of work included in this contract. • The project is subject to state contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code, Section 12990. • Five Percent (5%) will be withheld from each progress payment made to the contractor for work performed and will be held until completion of the work, its acceptance and the expiration of the period provided by law for filing liens by laborers or materialmen.
