Manchester Public Schools contracted the replacement of the approximately 12,000‑square‑foot gymnasium floor at Manchester High School. The scope required removal of the existing wood floor, supply and installation of Grade 1 maple flooring with sanding and finishing, complete court line marking for basketball and volleyball configurations, installation of volleyball sleeves, hardware mounts, and a custom court artwork featuring the school logo. The project was competitively bid, with New England Overland Floor Specialists awarded a total contract price of $312,000. Work was to begin around May 1 2021 and be completed no later than August 21 2021, with the contractor responsible for all permits, disposal, and compliance with insurance, living‑wage, and safety requirements.
