The City of Olathe, Kansas, Public Works Department is requesting qualified design firms to submit qualifications for the preparation of design documents for the City-Wide Lift Station Study. The study aims to compile a comprehensive inventory and analysis of 22 sanitary sewer lift stations to develop a City-wide, long-term Preventative Maintenance Plan. The selected vendor, Tetra Tech, Inc., will prepare a detailed Preventative Maintenance Plan, including a prioritized implementation schedule for improvements, detailed breakdown and cost estimates for improvements at each station, and a detailed background/operational summary.
• The study will cover 22 lift stations across three watersheds: Cedar Creek, Mill Creek, and Indian Creek.
• The plan will include cost estimates for design, construction, contingency, annual operations, and maintenance costs, as well as inflation rates.
• The project aims to develop a sustainable asset management plan for the City's lift stations.
