Pool Resurfacing

The City of Cottonwood has awarded a contract to Desert Art Pools LLC for the resurfacing of their indoor pool. The scope of work includes the removal and disposal of the existing pool surface, applying a new surface, retiling, and a PebbleSheen textured finish. The contractor is responsible for completing the project from start to finish, including preparation, demolition, installation, curing, initial cleaning, and water treatment. The contract has a maximum value of $216,600 and is expected to be completed by May 24, 2024. • The contractor must comply with all OSHA requirements and safety guidelines. • The contractor is responsible for procuring and posting any required local, county, and state permits. • The City of Cottonwood will assist in draining the water from the pool to perform the necessary work. • The contractor must develop and maintain a care plan throughout the curing process of the surface material. • The contractor must warranty any defects in materials, workmanship, and/or performance for the work completed for a standard 2 years and manufacturer warranty on all materials.
