Description
This Invitation for Bid (IFB) seeks subcontractors for select interior renovation scopes at the historic Yellowstone County Courthouse in Billings, MT. The project will renovate the 1st and 3rd floors in Phase 1, with a later Phase 2 for the 2nd floor. The scopes rebid include casework & countertops, laminate and acoustic wall panels, and a fire alarm system. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes by May 28, 2026, and the County will award a single subcontract for each package based on the lowest responsive price. The work must be performed while the courthouse remains operational, requiring careful staging, noise control, and limited elevator usage for debris removal. Subcontractors must provide extensive compliance documentation (confidentiality agreement, W‑9, insurance, safety policy, prevailing‑wage acknowledgment, asbestos handling, etc.) and may propose package discounts or optional value‑engineering items.
