MLK Trail Extension Project

The City of Allentown is seeking a contractor to provide consulting, planning, and design services for the MLK Trail Extension Project. The project involves the planning, testing, and design of a one-mile minimum 10’ wide paved multi-use trail that will extend from the future Auburn Cross Trails Park westward to the Lehigh Parkway, linking Center City Allentown with the extensive City and regional trail networks. The contract was awarded to five vendors: Simone Collins Landscape Architecture, Omnes LLC, Cowan Associates, Inc., American Engineers Group, LLC, and Michael Baker International, Inc. • The project requires the design of a multi-use trail with a minimum width of 10 feet. • The trail will extend from the future Auburn Cross Trails Park to the Lehigh Parkway. • The contract was awarded to five vendors, each with their own contact information and email addresses. • The City of Allentown is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides accommodations for hearing-impaired individuals. • The contract documents are available for download on the City of Allentown's website.
