Description
This contract concerns the nuisance‑abatement demolition of structures located at 730 Bankhead Place, Mobile, AL 36606. The City of Mobile (Municipal Enforcement Department) issued an RFQ on May 19 2023 for a stipulated‑sum (wet) demolition, including utility disconnection, erosion‑control BMPs, lead‑paint/asbestos handling, debris removal, and site restoration (seeding/mulching). The contract was subsequently awarded to AA&A Demolition. The work must be completed within fifteen (15) calendar days after receipt of a Notice to Proceed, with a liquidated‑damages penalty of $250 per day for any delay beyond that period. The vendor must provide proof of E‑Verify enrollment, insurance certificates, and required AIA payment and lien‑release forms within two days of contract issuance, and must publish a final‑completion notice in a local newspaper.
