The County of Riverside is seeking proposals from private non-profit and for-profit community organizations to provide Prevention and Early Intervention services, specifically the Strengthening Intergenerational/Intercultural Ties in Immigrant Families (SITIF) program. The program aims to serve the Asian-American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community, providing education and skill development for parents through Community Education Workshops and the 10-week Bicultural Parenting Class Series. The goals of the program include strengthening parenting skills, building family strengths, enhancing youth's school success, and reducing risk factors for behavioral, emotional, and social problems in children and adolescents.
• The program will be provided in culturally appropriate settings, incorporating the needs of the target population.
• The selected contractor will provide services across the County, describing the physical locations in which services will be provided.
• The program will be situated in de-stigmatizing locations to increase the likelihood of Asian American families with school-aged children and adolescents accessing those activities.
• The County of Riverside posts all bidding opportunities on two websites: www.purchasing.co.riverside.ca.us and www.publicpurchase.com.
