Description
This contract calls for the wet demolition and complete site remediation of a vacant property at 1312 Jessie Street, Mobile, AL. The contractor must demolish existing brick‑frame structures, remove all debris (including tires, vegetation, and small trees), cap utility lines, implement immediate erosion‑control BMPs, manage lead‑based paint and asbestos waste in compliance with federal and state regulations, and restore the site with topsoil, seed, and mulch. The work must be completed, documented, and closed out within 30 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed, with penalties for delays.
• Wet demolition required for all structures and foundations to control dust.
• Full responsibility for permits, utility capping, hazardous‑waste disposal, erosion control, and post‑demolition seeding.
• Mandatory post‑completion documentation: before/after photos, waste shipment records, insurance certificates, AIA payment applications, and a newspaper notice of final completion.
• Liquidated‑damage clause of $250 per day after a 15‑day grace period post‑substantial completion.
