This contract is a sole‑source extension of an existing Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) that supplies the Department of the Interior’s Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) fleet with Skydio X2E and next‑generation UAS platforms, associated payloads, and accessories. The BPA is firm‑fixed‑price and was originally set for a three‑year ordering period (10 Oct 2023 – 29 Oct 2026); the justification seeks to add a two‑year extension (10 Oct 2026 – 29 Oct 2028) to maintain uninterrupted access to a “Blue sUAS”‑listed system that satisfies stringent security, NDAA, and Executive Order requirements.
