Garage 44A Repairs

The University of North Florida is seeking a qualified General Contractor to complete garage repairs at the Fine Arts Parking Garage Annex (Garage 44A). The scope of work includes all labor, materials, and supervision required to address spalling, surfaces, coatings, joints, sealants, etc. The contract was awarded to Gutknecht Construction Company for $490,549.00. Key points of the contract include: • The contractor must hold the required applicable state Contractors license in good standing. • The contractor must provide a certified, cashier’s or treasurer’s check, bank draft, bank official check or bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. • The contractor must provide performance and payment bonds for projects/agreements in excess of $100,000. • The contractor must complete the work within 90 calendar days of the notice to proceed. • The contractor must provide all of the labor, materials, and supervision to complete the garage repairs.
