Barricades - Type I

This contract is for the purchase of Type I Barricades in accordance with the minimum specifications stated. The barricades must have panels that are 8" x 24" and made of high-density polyethylene plastic, .14 galvanized legs, and a top board with high-intensity prismatic sheeting. The bottom boards must have "K.C. ROADS" embossed on both sides. The contract was awarded to Statewide Traffic Safety and Signs Inc. for a total of $28,657.20, which includes unit cost, tax, and delivery for 800 Type I Barricades. • The contract includes a 7.25% tax. • The delivery location is the County of Kern Roads Department, 5438 Victor St, Bakersfield, CA 93308. • The contract was awarded based on a quotation request, and the vendor had the option to submit a new bid equal to or less than the low bid indicated by the purchasing agent. • The contract includes a breakdown of the cost per barricade, including unit cost, tax, and delivery.
