CARBON-FREE RESOURCES (Renewable & Non-Emitting Energy Resources)

The Snohomish County PUD is seeking to identify potential cost-effective carbon-free resources (renewable and non-emitting energy resources) to add to their energy portfolio. The RFP is looking for proposals from firms that can provide these resources, which may be already commercially operational or in development. The proposal register lists several firms that have submitted proposals, but the contract has not been awarded yet as the proposals are still under evaluation. • The RFP was posted on January 31, 2025, and the deadline for submission was February 28, 2025. • The District is looking for resources that can meet both near-term and long-term renewable energy targets. • The proposals are to be submitted electronically through the Public Purchase website. • The District will not guarantee responses to questions received via other forms of communication (phone, voicemail, text, IM, etc.).
