Road Specific Aggregate Materials, Landscape Bark, and Topsoil

The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish sources of supply of crushed manufactured or naturally occurring aggregates, landscape bark, and topsoil meeting the attached Material Specifications and Technical Specifications for Pierce County. The contract term is five years, with the option to renew annually. The initial contract estimate is $20,000 per year, but the County may add additional funding throughout the contract. • The contract requires the supplier to provide unit pricing for materials that will be for pick up only. • The supplier must meet the material specifications outlined in the ITB, including requirements for crushed screenings, landscape bark, and topsoil. • The supplier must also comply with the technical specifications, including gradation requirements and testing procedures. • The County reserves the right to cancel the ITB at any time and to reject any bid that does not meet the requirements outlined in the ITB.
