The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury is seeking vendors to supply a range of limestone‑based crushed stone, rip‑rap, and flume sand for road construction and maintenance across the parish. The contract is an indefinite‑delivery, “as‑needed” purchase with no minimum order quantity, and prices must be quoted per ton, tax‑free, either FOB the bidder’s site or FOB destination for delivered items. All aggregate must come from Louisiana‑approved sources and meet LA DOTD and AASHTO specifications, with required testing (abrasion, soundness) and documentation. A 5 % bid bond is required, and a fuel surcharge may be added if fuel exceeds $3 / gal. The award can be made on a line‑item basis, allowing vendors to bid on selected items only. The contract period for pricing is Jan 1 2027 – Dec 31 2027, with possible extensions up to 60 months.
