On-Call Civil/Structural Bridge Design & Related Engineering Services for Planning & Public Works

Pierce County Planning and Public Works is seeking consulting engineering firms to provide civil/structural bridge design and related engineering services. The selected consultant will provide civil/structural bridge engineering design services, including preliminary engineering, structural design, civil and site design, and construction services. The consultant must have working knowledge of AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications, Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Standard Specifications, and other applicable design standards. • Key services include: preliminary engineering, structural design, civil and site design, and construction services • The consultant must have experience with bridge design, load ratings, and construction plans • The consultant must be able to perform complex technical work in civil and structural bridge engineering • The initial contract period is anticipated to be 12 months, with the option to renew for an additional four years • The estimated value of the initial contract is $500,000.00
