Description
The City of Pasadena’s Public Works Engineering Division is seeking qualified consulting firms to serve on an on‑call basis for structural engineering services. Up to five separate five‑year contracts may be awarded, each capped at $1,000,000 with no guaranteed minimum work. Services include structural assessments, seismic retrofits, design, peer‑review, construction‑phase support, and coordination with other disciplines for city‑owned buildings, bridges, retaining walls, and other structural systems. Firms must have at least five years of comparable experience and must provide a licensed California Structural Engineer as Principal‑in‑Charge. Proposals are submitted electronically via the City’s e‑Procurement portal by November 17, 2026, with questions due by October 27, 2026. Hourly rates are fixed for the first year and may be adjusted in subsequent years per CPI or 3 % cap.
