Hot Mix Asphalt

The City of Canon City, Colorado is soliciting sealed offers for furnishing Hot Mix Asphalt materials. The scope of this bid is to supply plant mixed asphalt materials as specified, to be picked up or delivered to City job sites in various amounts and at various times throughout the calendar year of 2026. The initial agreement shall be for 1 year, from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The City reserves the right to waive any minor deviation from these specifications if, in the opinion of the City, such minor deviations will not materially affect the serviceability of the material for the intended purpose. Key requirements include: • Supplying plant mixed hot mix asphalt materials as specified • Delivering materials to City job sites in various amounts and at various times throughout the calendar year of 2026 • Maintaining uniform quality and characteristics of the material from delivery to delivery • Providing test reports to indicate compliance with the mix design • Complying with the 2021 CDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction and City of Cañon City Standard Construction Specifications
