J--Notice of Intent to Sole Source for service contract agreement for the NETL-own

The National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis to PHYSICAL ELECTRONICS for the maintenance and service of their VersaProbe III X-ray Photoelectron Spectrometer. The service contract period of performance is from 03/24/2026 to 03/25/2027. The contract includes full functionality, technical support, and upgrades, as well as scheduled preventive maintenance. Any interested party that believes it is capable of meeting the NETL requirement may identify themselves and provide evidence of their capability by 03/17/2026.
