The Arlington County Government is seeking bids for the Kenmore Fields Conversion project, which will replace existing athletic fields with a multi‑sport synthetic turf field and associated amenities. The work includes demolition, site improvements, lighting, fencing, shade structures, and landscaping to create a modern, ADA‑compliant sports facility.
• Demolition of existing fields and paths, followed by construction of a synthetic turf field with dugouts, bullpens, and batting cages.
• Installation of sports‑specific lighting, protective netting, chain‑link fencing, a storage building, and a cantilevered shade structure.
• Comprehensive site upgrades including circulation improvements, ADA compliance, storm‑water management, drainage, landscaping, and site furnishings.
