The United States Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience required to perform production, repair, sustainment, computer-based training, logistics support, and engineering services for M-Code receivers that are mounted, dismounted, and/or a combination of both in support of the Defense Advanced Global Positioning System (GPS) Receiver (DAGR) or equivalent. The Government is seeking information on M-Code solutions that are form/fit drop-in replacements for DAGR within mounted vehicles, dismounted operations, or dual use mounted/dismounted. The solution must be both cost-efficient and effective.
• The M-Code product should comply with DAGR data, mechanical, and electrical interfaces as defined in IS-GPS-153D and IS-GPS-164.
• The product should provide M-Code PNT in a manner compatible with existing host platforms or client systems currently designed to consume Y-code derived PNT data from DAGR.
• The system should maintain system information such as GPS M-Code and Y-Code keys, MNAV and LNAV almanac, position, velocity, and time across battery change to avoid cold start/Condition 0 and comply with warm start/Condition 1 requirements IAW CI-MGUE/GE-850.
• The system should accept Hot Start from a DAGR and other M-Code capable systems.
• The system should include an embedded GPS antenna.
• The system should include a display which displays system status as well as navigation information such as time, position, key status, assurance status, altitude, bearing to waypoint, next waypoint, etc.
• The system should include means for a user to enter mission and navigation information.
• The system should support all DAGR NMEA-0183 messages.
• The system should support RS-232 and RS-422 over serial messaging.
