Annual Lot Cleaning & Clearing Services for Privately Owned Properties

The City of Lakeland is seeking a qualified and experienced mowing contractor to provide lot cleaning and clearing services for privately owned properties. The contractor will be responsible for mowing grass, removing debris, and collecting trash. The contract period will be from the issuance of the purchase order to September 30, 2026, with the option to renew for up to four additional one-year periods. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to complete the work. • The contractor must cut grass and weeds to a height of three to four inches and remove cuttings from sidewalks, driveways, and street frontage. • The contractor must use small power equipment to cut vegetation inaccessible to mowers. • The contractor must not use chemicals to accomplish the work. • The contractor must remove debris, including trash and junk, from the property. • The contractor must not relocate trash, debris, or junk from one area to another. • The contractor must contact the designated zoned officer or Code Enforcement Manager if they have questions about the work.
