USNS LUCY STONE (T-AO 209) Steam Kettles

The United States Navy is seeking a contractor to provide steam kettles for the USNS LUCY STONE (T-AO 209). The solicitation is for a firm fixed price contract, and the contractor must provide a quote that includes the price, delivery date, and any discount terms. The evaluation factors for this solicitation include technical acceptability and price reasonableness. • The contractor must provide a tilting kettle with a 20-gallon capacity, electric, and 2/3 steam jacket design. • The contractor must provide a kettle with a self-contained, lever-style tilting, anti-drip pour spout, IPX6 water protection controls, self-locking marine-style safety latch, reinforced rolled rim, 6" stainless steel adjustable legs & rear flanged feet, and stainless steel construction with 316 series stainless steel liner. • The contractor must provide a kettle with a 50 PSI rating, CE, standard wattage, 480v/60/3-ph, 16.3kW, 18.0 amps, 3 wire, standard controls, temperature control dial, LED ON indicator light, main power switch with standard and high power setting. • The contractor must deliver the kettle to the MSC WAREHOUSE, 1968 GILBERT STREET, NAVAL BASE BLDG W143 DW 10, NORFOLK, VA 23511-2313.
