Tank Rehabilitation Phase 2 - Newks Elevated Storage Tank

New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) is seeking a qualified firm to provide construction services for the Tank Rehabilitation Phase 2 - Newks Elevated Storage Tank project. The project includes the rehabilitation of the interior and exterior coating systems, civil site improvements, electrical and instrumentation improvements, and other appurtenances necessary to complete the project. The selected firm will be responsible for obtaining all applicable permits and inspections, providing performance and payment bonds, and providing NBU with all manufacturers' warranties and operations and maintenance manuals for all equipment installed. Key aspects of the project include: • Full rehabilitation of the interior and exterior coating systems • Civil site improvements, including driveway overlay and fencing • Electrical and instrumentation improvements • Storm water pollution prevention plan • Site restoration The project is expected to be completed within 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date. NBU reserves the right to phase the construction of the project or modify the schedule as needed.
