Description
The Miami‑Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department is seeking a contractor to demolish an existing pedestrian bridge at the Country Club of Miami and construct a new pressure‑treated wood bridge, complete with foundations, superstructure, stainless‑steel guardrails, and environmental controls. The contractor must obtain all required permits, manage demolition and disposal, install six 12‑in. treated piles, PT girders, joists, decking, and a turbidity barrier, and provide site protection and post‑construction restoration, all within a 90‑day schedule.
• Demolition of existing bridge and off‑site disposal of debris.
• Installation of six 12‑in. pressure‑treated piles, PT superstructure (girders, joists, decking), and 42‑in. stainless‑steel guardrails.
• Environmental safeguards including FDOT Type II turbidity barrier and plywood ground protection, plus full permitting and inspection coordination.
