The City of Issaquah is seeking a consulting firm to provide geotechnical, hydraulic, and hydrogeologic engineering services to support the City's water rights assessment and well production evaluation. The project involves evaluating the City's current water rights, determining the current capacity of two wells, and investigating the City's comprehensive water rights for all active and inactive wells. The selected consultant will provide recommendations for maximizing the use of the City's current water rights and evaluating the opportunity to pursue additional rights. Key objectives include determining the current capacity of two wells, investigating the City's current comprehensive water rights, and evaluating the cost-benefit of the City's options. • The project will be broken into two phases: Phase 1 - Water Right Evaluation and Phase 2 - Well 4 and 5 production evaluation. • The City desires to complete Phase 1 by early Q2 of 2027 and Phase 2 by December 31, 2027. • The available budget is $50,000 in 2026 and $200,000 in 2027. • The selected consultant will be required to execute the City's standard contract form and provide a Certificate of Insurance with endorsement pages naming the City of Issaquah as additional insured.
