Description
The US Air Force intends to award a sole-source contract to Xtreme Engineering Solutions Inc. (X-ES) for the procurement of chassis. The required items are XPand1203 and XPand1007, which are 3U VPX chassis with specific features. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract, and the award is expected to be made no later than 07 May 2026.
* The chassis are required for the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) equipment.
* The Government has determined that X-ES is the only source that can provide the required items, as they are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and do not have authorized resellers.
