ROBINSON MIDDLE SCHOOL SLAB STABILIZATION

The Topeka Public Schools is seeking bids for the slab stabilization of Robinson Middle School. The project involves filling voids below the slab with polyurethane foam and lifting the slab to its original elevation. The approximate area of stabilization is 2,800 sq. ft. The bid includes a base bid and an allowance for unforeseen work. The successful bidder will be required to comply with various terms and conditions, including those related to taxes, insurance, and termination of the agreement. • The project requires the stabilization of the lower-level slab on grade along the east wall by filling voids below the slab with polyurethane foam. • The approximate area of stabilization is 2,800 sq. ft. • The void depth below the slab ranges from 3/4” to 2 3/8” based on borings provided in the Terracon report. • The slab is to be lifted as close as possible to the original elevation without loading or damaging existing interior partitions. • Portions of the existing stage floor will have to be removed to gain access to the slab. • The bid includes a base bid and an allowance for unforeseen work.
