CuSD Significant Defect Repair Project - Phase 3

This solicitation calls for the repair and replacement of aging sewer infrastructure within the Cupertino Sanitary District. The scope includes sixty‑three open‑cut spot repairs on 44 locations (totaling 672 linear feet) using SDR26 PVC pipe, nine pipe‑bursting segments (2,800 linear feet) with SDR17 HDPE pipe, and two CIPP linings. Work also encompasses removal and replacement of numerous wyes, installation of new wyes, trenching, utility potholing, pavement removal and restoration, fence and plant removal/re‑planting, and associated site restoration. The contractor must complete the project within 122 working days and will be subject to liquidated damages of $500 per day for delays. An optional pre‑bid conference will be held on May 6, 2026.
