Description
The Caribbean Basin Security Initiative (CBSI) Technical Assistance Field Team (TAFT) is seeking to support the operational readiness of Caribbean Partner Nation vessels by overhauling Mercury 300HP SEAPRO engines, gear house assemblies, and requisite components. This effort aims to enhance fleet durability and performance by addressing the increased wear and tear experienced by small craft in austere environments. The required items include various engine and gear housing components, as well as other parts and accessories.
• The initiative aims to ensure that partner forces can operate their vessels safely and reliably, even under demanding conditions.
• The overhaul of engines and transmissions will extend the service life of the vessels, enhance their performance, efficiency, and reliability.
