Notice of Intent to Restrict Competition – NAIHS, Gallup Indian Medical Center – Laboratory Proficiency Testing Program

The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Gallup Service Unit, Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC) intends to restrict competition and negotiate an award with the College of American Pathologists for a laboratory proficiency testing program. The program aims to assess the ability of the GSU Laboratory to competently perform clinical diagnostic testing. The projected period of performance is from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. • The program requires the supply of pooled samples of serum, plasma, urine, CSF, and other bodily fluids, as well as stained tissue slides and case studies. • The program also requires statistical analysis, including inter-laboratory comparison index calculations. • The College of American Pathologists is an approved Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services proficiency testing program. • Vendors who believe they can provide the stated services may submit a capability statement, which must be submitted via email by 10:00 AM (MST) on December 29, 2025.
