Description

The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) intends to issue a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to support a limited competition renewal of the Analysis, Visualization, and Informatics Lab-space (AnVIL) program. AnVIL is a secure, cloud-based platform that enables researchers to access, share, and analyze large-scale genomic datasets without relying on local infrastructure. The renewed program will continue to advance AnVIL as a community resource grounded in FAIR principles, with key priorities including enhancing scalability, strengthening interoperability, and maintaining rigorous security. The program will also support integration of emerging data types and computational tools, and expand training and outreach to help researchers effectively use AnVIL's multimodal datasets and reproducible analysis capabilities. * The AnVIL program is a cloud-based platform for accessing, sharing, and analyzing large-scale genomic datasets. * The program will prioritize enhancing scalability, strengthening interoperability, and maintaining rigorous security. * The program will support integration of emerging data types and computational tools. * The program will expand training and outreach to help researchers effectively use AnVIL's multimodal datasets and reproducible analysis capabilities. * The program aims to accelerate discovery across the research lifecycle and strengthen the genomics community's capacity for clinical and translational science.
