Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Modification to Lockheed Martin to Increase Contract Ceiling

The Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific intends to award a sole source contract modification to Lockheed Martin to increase the contract ceiling for General Service Cross Domain Solution support. The contract provides for installation, program management, maintenance, modernization, and sustainment of Radiant Mercury systems, as well as system security authorization support, logistics, and training services. The ceiling increase is necessary to avoid a gap in services critical to the Department of War. • The contract is a cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. • The contract was awarded on a sole source basis in 2019 with a five-year base period and one five-year option period. • The option period was exercised in 2021, roughly three years earlier than initially planned. • The current contract's ordering period ends on 30 September 2029. • The ceiling increase is necessary to support the substantial unanticipated demand on the current contract's requirements.
