Description

The U.S. Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting quotes for a liquid level sensor. The sensor must meet specific requirements, including being free from mercury contamination. The contractor is responsible for performing all inspection requirements, and the government reserves the right to perform any inspections deemed necessary. The contractor must also provide records of all inspection work and keep them available for 365 calendar days after final delivery. Some key points to consider are: • The sensor must be manufactured according to the specified requirements and must meet all quality standards. • The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all items meet the requirements of the contract. • The government reserves the right to deny approval of any changes to the production facilities. • The contractor must provide a warning plate if the item contains metallic mercury. • The use of mercury, mercury compounds, or mercury-bearing instruments and/or equipment in the manufacture, assembly, or test of the material is prohibited.

Budget estimate

$10,000 – $100,000

The budget for this opportunity is likely to be moderate, given the specificity of the sensor required and the need for it to meet strict quality standards. The exact budget will depend on the contractor's ability to meet the requirements and the government's evaluation of their proposal. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the complexity of the sensor, the materials used, and the production costs. A reasonable estimate for the budget could be between $10,000 and $100,000, considering the sensor is a specialized item and the government is looking for a specific design.
