Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a portable lathe and boring machine, specifically the SERCO TU400, from PROTEM USA LLC. The machine must have a machining accuracy of 0.0004-in with a surface finish of 32 to 500 μin, which is essential for successful repairs shipboard. The requested material or service represents the minimum requirements of the Government. The agency currently uses a SERCO TU600 and would like a smaller unit to fit into confined spaces shipboard. All tooling for these units is interchangeable.
